About Me

I am a second-generation beekeeper that started in an attempt to source my own honey for mead. My father had been the president of the local beekeeping club, state inspector, and keeping bees for years so I knew I had the best resources at my disposal.

My passions are in the creativity of making mead and wine, taking care of the hives throughout the year, and teaching others to do so as well.

I keep only a few colonies at a time currently myself but help others get started with mead, wine, and beekeeping. This blog is dedicated to sharing my knowledge with others and helping new beekeepers and mead makers get started.
